Dua Lipa is a English artist and performer born August 22, 1995, in London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a few years of working and put out a self-titled album in the year 2017. It peaked at 3rd place at the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles including Be The One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. top-ranked single New Rules which peaked at number six within the United States. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanians Anesa Laxha, and Dukagjin lipa. By virtue of her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian origin. Also, it is possible to trace back her ancestors in Peja, the Kosovo city of Peja. Lipa's grandfathers are both historians. She has two siblings, Rina and Gjin. Lipa learned to play the guitar and sing with her father Oda. He is the singer/guitarist who leads Kosovan's rock group Oda.
